Te Urewera Shuttle provides a scheduled shuttle service from Rotorua to Lake Waikaremoana, journeying through heartland Te Urewera. The shuttle enables access to Te Urewera National Park, Whirinaki Forest Park, and the fantastic network of walking tracks, fishing and hunting spots, mountain bike tracks, rivers, lakes, campsites and huts.

Operating over the summer season, this year the shuttle will  start operating on Thursday 22 October 2010, and will finish on Sunday 24 April 2011. It will then start up again in October 2012.

The shuttle runs twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays, departing from the Rotorua Information Centre at 8.30am. The return trip will leave Lake Waikaremoana at 3pm getting back into Rotorua around 7.30pm.
